Wyoming is the least populated state, and its federal market is correspondingly compact but far from empty. F.E. Warren Air Force Base in Cheyenne controls a wing of intercontinental ballistic missiles spread across three states, and the generational modernization of those missile fields is expected to bring sustained construction, utilities, and support contracting to southeastern Wyoming. The other defining buyer is the land system: Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks procure road, facility, and visitor-infrastructure work, including some of the Park Service's largest construction projects, while the BLM and Forest Service buy fire support, range, and environmental services across enormous acreage. The VA's Cheyenne and Sheridan medical centers and the National Guard's Camp Guernsey training site complete the list.
